I'm hot stuff... again.

Yes, I'm back in Jamaica and back to sweating my #$%@ off. Wow, it's hot here... damn hot. I used to so eagerly await the approach of spring and finally YES! summer. Now I can't wait for winter when the temperature will occasionally fall below sweltering.

I got the rest of my pics from my trip uploaded. Same place -> http://community.webshots.com/user/asnauffer

While at home, my brother Mike said he was looking to hear more about what I was working on here in Jamaica. True, I haven't talked a lot about my work here because, well... I'm not really sure what I'm doing yet. The biggest project I've worked on is a water supply system reconstruction with another volunteer in Castleton, St. Mary, some 3 hrs and 3 1/2 route taxi rides away. I am involved in a number of efforts here in St. James, including working in the National Water Commission's Quality Assurance Lab, updating a design for a composting facility at the Retirement Landfill, and helping out with the Homework Club at the Flanker's Peace and Justice Center. I'm still struggling to find my niche, and of course my masters thesis, so I haven't really said much on this. But Mike, I promise to write more on the things I'm working on here and how the search for a thesis is going.

Peace to all,
Drew
